Stuff going on -ish
So, I’ve got oodles of stuff I want to write about. And I mean oodles. And I think that finally now I’ll have a bit of time. Maybe.
Here’s my to-do list, so you can check it off, if you want.
Well, that didn’t work too well - as I thought of things to add to the to-do list, I started to do them.
1. The same person that suggested that I perhaps be a playwright and thus helped with the inspiration that I make an ongoing saga out of MasculineExegesis suggested that I write a piece for MixedRice, so I did last night. I’m afraid I might have come across as slightly racist in there - but I guess it just goes to show what a warped development I had with regard to said issues. I’ll link to it when (if?) it is accepted for publication (they have a nice content management system built on lasso that seems to work pretty well for what that site is trying to achieve).
2. I tried out iBlog with a_s_c/iblog and it seems to be working well. I’ll give it a bit more of a whirl before I officially decommission this category {Personal (Very…)} but the slicker UserInterface and nice DotMac integration make me think I’ll like it for purposes of the sorts of things that I have been putting in this category.
3. Now for stuff I haven’t gotten to: the DayNotez to HTML command-line exporter that I want to give me blog-like ability to write blog posts from within DayNotez. That has potential to enable me to get more of my thoughts on some blog, but once again - trying to get it to integrate with this blog will be a bit of a hassle, so it will probably wind up as a separate blog - and I’ll probably put it on DotMac rather than on this site, but I never can quite tell what I’m going to be doing with my stuff.
4. The end is in sight - for my dissertation, I’ve reached the point where the number of potential obstacles remaining is much less than before. But I still have a bunch of stuff to do, so I need to work on that.
5. I really want to make something that dims the screen based on the hour of the day, so that my screen is brighter when the sun is brighter and dimmer when the sun is dimmer or not up at all. I think this would be good for my eyes. I think I can write such a thing. I just need time - something that is short in coming.
6. I need to sell the HandSpring Visor Pro and such that I’m no longer using.
7. I need to fiddle with Kinoma(sp?) Producer and such about getting video clips onto my PDA. It would be sweet to watch some of my favorite music videos or movie trailers on my PDA - or at least show them off to other folks.
8. Likewise, I need to put better MP3s on my PDA than just the ones that came with it. They’re good, but there’s better stuff to put on there.
9. I need to balance my checkbook and such - that might help me get rid of a lot of the piles of paper that I have floating around my room.
10. I need to blog about all the stuff I’ve so far said I was going to blog about - like the Toronto trip and whatnot.
Why am I putting all this stuff here? It isn’t like I don’t have a to-do list application on my PDA….
Anyway, it is getting late, and I’m going to call it a night for now, hopefully.

lol….your list is interesting….I have a similarly loooong list of things to do as well. Heh, perhaps we could compare notes. ;)
