Information wants to be free - from everything

Can information exist apart from a container thereof?

Did the Pythagorean Theorem exist before Pythagorus?

It did as a truth, but not as a named truth.

Information exists.

Does information have a will of its own? Do carbon atoms have a will of their own? Composites of carbon atoms, and other atoms, collectively are imagined to have a will of their own.

Why is a bit so different from a carbon atom?

Creatures replicate. Bits replicate. Viruses spread. Ideologies spread.

Information wants to be free just as creatures want to live, and in both cases, replication and dissemination is a part of what they do as they live freely.

Are you forcing your information to be a mule, serving your tasks and that’s it? Or are you letting it be a rabbit and breed like one?
