1 Content Drives Visitors

It's true - if you have content, people will have a reason to visit your site. If you don't, they won't. Content is why people choose to visit a site. For some people, presentation and content are intertwined, but even then, if you don't update something pretty often, and have archives of how it used to be, you're either not going to get a lot of repeat visitors or you're not going to get visitors that hang around the site for a while.
